Curative education home for children and young people

The children's home at St. Maria is a curative educational children's and youth welfare facility that belongs to the Gundelfingen Children's Home Foundation. They take in infants, children and adolescents of both sexes who, for various reasons, can no longer live at home or with foster parents.

Volunteer Fire Department Oberreitnau

Donations will be used, for example, to help finance the recently procured operational boots for the Lindau Fire Department's North Station. The leather boots are specially approved for firefighting service and must meet various standards. However, since certain rubber boots can also meet this standard, only these are used as standard boots for cost reasons. But as they are poor insulators of cold and heat and often very uncomfortable, the firefighters from Lindau-Oberreitnau can now enjoy the benefits of modern leather operational boots.

Make-A-Wish Foundation

Being a princess for a day, flying a round in a police helicopter or carrying Rafael Nadal's tennis bag on centre court... These are the heartfelt wishes of our seriously ill children that we fulfil together with donors, helpers and supporters. In this way, we give the children and their families joy, strength and new energy, which has a positive influence on many therapies.

Bear Country Adventure - sustainable animal welfare in Arosa bear country

Arosa bear country is an experience for young and old. The bears Napa (died on 04/11/2020), Meimo, Amelia and Jambolina, take centre stage. Arosa Bear Country gives bears rescued from poor housing conditions a home appropriate to their species. Bears that used to live chained in a tiny, dirty cage are freed from this unfortunate situation by FOUR PAWS and brought to Arosa.

Ray of Hope Tea Room

The team of "Ray of Hope" sees itself as an initiative with the aim of passing on some of its own happiness to people with little wealth, quality of life and loneliness. The tea room offers these people the opportunity to meet once a week in a friendly and warm atmosphere, to discuss problems, to experience togetherness and to share a meal.
In addition to general support (going to the authorities, filling out forms, etc.), it is very important to provide individual support, which can usually last for a longer period of time. There are also regular excursions to Gelsenkirchen Zoo, to farmer Ewald's and barbecues. Up to 100 people (with children) take part in this.

Sea-Watch e.V.

Sea-Watch e.V. is a non-profit initiative dedicated to the civilian rescue of refugees at sea. In the face of the humanitarian catastrophe, Sea-Watch is providing emergency aid, at the same time demanding and pushing for rescue by the relevant European institutions and publicly advocating for legal escape routes. Since a political solution in the sense of a #SafePassage, which we are calling for, is not on the horizon at the moment, we have expanded our scope of action and made new plans. We are politically and religiously independent and are financed by private donations.

We have been advocating for single-parent families and their concerns since 1984. We engage in counselling and support for single-parent families, position ourselves publicly as stakeholders for children and their single parents, and advocate for good framework conditions for single-parent families in society.

Gasser Family

The "Lift Me Up" aid project supports the Gasser family from Kriessern SG, who desperately need a lift for their child Jaro. After an epileptic episode, the life of the once healthy Jaros changed completely. The four-year-old has since needed round-the-clock care because he can no longer walk, eat or speak.

CBM Christoffel Mission for the Blind

CBM Christoffel Blindenmission is an internationally active Christian development organisation committed to helping blind and otherwise disabled people in Africa, Asia and Latin America. There, it makes it possible for disabilities to be prevented and for people with disabilities to receive medical care, integrative support and equal inclusion in society. CBM provides development and emergency aid for all faiths, ethnicities, origins or genders.

The "Federal Association Thyroid Cancer - Living without a thyroid gland e.V." advocates for the information needs and interests of thyroid patients, especially thyroid cancer patients. In addition, the foundation and networking of local self-help groups is supported.

Pro-Orphans

While we have set out to start as one institution, we have set firm goals. Providing orphans, homeless, orphaned children and needy people with any assistance. Be it financial or mental, we as a charity want to reach out to these people and build a bridge between the needy and donors.
