Printplus has cancelled its participation at drupa 21

The world's largest trade fair for the printing and print media industry, "drupa" in Dusseldorf, was postponed by one year to April 2021 in March 2020 due to the spread of the coronavirus. Printplus decided in early August not to exhibit at drupa 2021. The Swiss software producer has taken this decision because the further development of the coronavirus pandemic is not yet foreseeable.

At present, it is impossible to assess how the coronavirus pandemic will develop and how visitors and staff can be protected at an international trade fair. As an alternative to drupa, Printplus will hold the "Printplus Summit" on 25 & 26 March 2021. The first summit was held in May 2019 and was a great success. Managing directors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland travelled to the Schwägalp at the foot of the Säntis. User testimonials complemented the informative presentations from the Printplus team. Unfortunately, this year's summit also had to be cancelled due to the situation.

Printplus is keen to inform its customers and interested parties about the innovations at the 2021 Summit. The agenda of the Printplus Summit 2021 includes constructive presentations on the efficient use of Printplus DRUCK, clear announcements on cost savings, culinary flights of fancy at 2502 metres above sea level, and personal dialogue will continue to be the focus.

If the situation does not settle down by March 2021, Printplus will rely on a new, virtual concept. The summit will be transmitted via live stream. "Digital, personal and decentralised event concepts are increasingly coming into focus for us. We have also changed our training concepts and use the new digital possibilities. Many training sessions are already conducted online via Microsoft Teams", adds Alex Sturzenegger, Managing Director Printplus AG.

You will receive further information on the 2021 Summit on an ongoing basis.
